Product overview
Description
Continuous room monitoring
The LL34 Fixed SF6 Room Monitor is designed for continuous environmental monitoring in GIS rooms, switchgear rooms and other areas where SF6-filled equipment is installed. It monitors SF6 concentration, oxygen, temperature and humidity at the same time, giving operators a clear view of room conditions without relying only on periodic manual inspection.
Dual-wavelength NDIR sensing is used for SF6 measurement, while the local OLED display shows current readings directly at the monitoring point.
Alarm and remote monitoring
Alarm thresholds can be set according to the monitoring requirement. When an abnormal SF6 concentration or oxygen condition is detected, the LL34 can activate external sound and light alarms to provide an immediate warning.
RS-485 and Zigbee communication allow measurement data, settings and relay status to be transmitted to a host or monitoring system. The monitor also supports local or remote calibration, making it suitable for fixed multi-point monitoring installations.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common technical and operational questions about the LL34.
Can the LL34 locate the exact SF6 leak point?
No. The LL34 is designed for continuous room monitoring and alarm rather than pinpoint leak location. If an abnormal SF6 concentration is detected, a portable leak detector can then be used to locate the leakage point on the equipment.
Why does the LL34 monitor oxygen as well as SF6?
The LL34 monitors both SF6 concentration and oxygen condition in the room. This allows the system to provide a broader indication of the indoor environment when SF6 leakage or oxygen depletion is a concern.
Can the alarm levels be adjusted for different sites?
Yes. Alarm thresholds can be set according to the monitoring requirement, allowing the LL34 to be adapted to different GIS rooms, switchgear rooms and operating procedures.
Can the LL34 connect to a central monitoring system?
Yes. The monitor supports RS-485 and Zigbee communication for transmitting measurement data, settings and relay status to a host or monitoring system.
Can the LL34 be used as part of a multi-point room monitoring system?
Yes. The LL34 is suitable for fixed monitoring at multiple locations within an SF6 equipment area. Communication interfaces allow individual monitoring points to be connected to a central system for remote supervision.
